Hillside Design Co. was founded by two sisters whose love of gardens began in childhood. We grew up on Hillside Avenue, where our mother taught us the joy of tending a garden. That foundation continues to guide our work today, as we design timeless outdoor spaces that celebrate the enduring connection between home and garden.

Helen Gates holds a post-graduate degree in Architectural Design, where she honed her design skills and gained a deep understanding of the principles of architecture, art, and interior aesthetics.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Helen Gates has successfully completed a diverse range of projects, from residential homes to commercial spaces and everything in between. Her work has been featured in prestigious design magazines and publications, earning her recognition as a trailblazer in the industry.
